| Widmer Hefeweizen is the original unfiltered American-style Hefeweizen (wheat and yeast ale), and the standard by which all others are judged. Its purposefully cloudy in appearance due to live yeast in suspension. Wheat and biscuit aromas and flavors provide the backbone to the golden beer, and they are augmented by yeast and hop derived citrus and faintly spicy attributes. Served with a lemon to accentuate the natural citrus tones. | |
